I can forgive those who are unkind to me.
Game: “Follow Forgiveness”
This is a fun board game where the players can play individually or as two teams. The object is to collect the most “Forgiveness Flowers”. This is done by moving along the flower trail and answering questions provided and then picking how many forgiveness flowers they receive. The team or player with the most flowers at the end of the trail is the winner! This is a great way to review and think about the importance of forgiving those who have been unkind to us.
Song: “Help Me Dear Father”
A favorite Primary song that teaches about forgiveness and the importance of it in our lives.
Teaching Visuals: “Happy Face and Sad Face” visuals
These are perfect to use with your Come Follow Me lesson suggestion when teaching about how forgiveness makes us feel and those whom we forgive or not forgive feel.
Jesus Christ can bring me peace.
Song: “Reverently, Quietly”
This is a wonderful Primary song that teaches children to think of Jesus often to help them find peace in their soul.
Game/Activity: “Peaceful Paula and Rude Roberta”
When people are rude or unkind to you, it can be difficult to forgive them. This is a great activity for youth to review and discuss times when we are treated unkindly and how we can react. It will also help them realize how much nicer it is to be a peacemaker.
*This Come Follow Me bundle includes black and white versions of the songs for optional coloring pages.
