This Autumn Tree game can be used in Primary or school classes to review songs or Autumn Trivia by placing cards on the back of each leaf. This Game can also be used in conjunction with the "Autumn Tic Tac Toe".
Reproduce the four pages that create the Autumn Tree onto heavier cardstock. Color and cut out along the interior dotted lines and the dark exterior lines. Line them up together as shown, and then tape the pages together on the back side. Laminate for durability. Reproduce the leaves onto heavier cardstock. The black and white version has one page of leaves that you will reproduce 6 times for a total of 12 leaves. When reproducing in color, you are given 6 pages of leaves colored in a variety of autumn hues.
This fun Autumn Tree can be used in many ways. If you are the music leader, use it for putting different songs on the back of each leaf or put on the back of the leaves ways you can sing it (only boys, only girls, teachers/leaders, slow, fast, standing, with a stop and go sign, humming, marching, etc.). You can use this fun tree in conjunction with the "Autumn Tic Tac Toe" game and tape the numbers 1-9 on the back of each leaf randomly. You will have three leaves that will not have a number so that when playing the tic tac toe game there will be times that they will not get to place their "x" or "o" on the board. I have personally used this game in our Primary and the children had a great time playing the game and getting lucky with whatever number they chose and placed their "x" or "0" on the numbered spot. Have fun and enjoy using this fun fall visual!
