Chart Handout: “I Love to Read the Scriptures” Give a copy of this scripture chart to each family member or classroom member. Tell them to keep track of their scripture study each day for the month. Write any feelings or new understand of the scriptures they have learned from their studies this month. The Holy Ghost will help you understand the scriptures. Scripture Door Hanger and Bookmarks: Give each person in your class or family a copy of one of these fun door hangers to put on their bedroom doors to remind them to read their scriptures daily and to use when they are studying the scriptures! Give each member a copy of these four different and fun bookmarks to color (or give them in color) to use in each of their scriptures!
Reproduce these fun scripture charts, door hangers and bookmarks onto a heavier cardstock. Have the children either color them themselves or hand them a colored version ready to use! These wonderful scripture helps will be great for any child to have and use to help them remember to read their scriptures and to keep track of how they are doing. Remember to teach them the importance of how the Holy Ghost will guide and help them understand what the scriptures are teaching them.
This fun matching game can be used to go along with any lesson teaching stories from the Book of Mormon. The object of this game is to "fish and find" the three pictures on your strip first. Create a set of questions from your lesson or from what you have been reading in the scriptures. If the player answers the question correctly, they get to "Fish and Find" a card on the floor. The first player to find all three of their pictures wins the game!
