This fun pencil and paper activity is a great review and teaches children to remember how important of an example Jesus Christ should be in our lives. How we should all try to be more like him and follow his example. Letters are chosen from a sack and the players write down a word that tells something we can do to be more like Jesus while living here on earth.
Reproduce as many of the strips numbered 1-12 as you want. Each person playing the game will receive one of these papers. Reproduce the "I Want To Be Like Jesus" visual onto heavier cardstock. Color, cut out and mount on the front of a paper bag. Reproduce the alphabet cards onto colored cardstock. Cut them out and place them in the paper bag.
Give each player a sheet numbered 1-12 and a pencil. Have someone choose a letter card from the paper sack and everyone writes on their first line something they can do that is a good example and a Christ-like action. Keep picking letters and filling in each line until you have written on al the lines. Now check everyone's answers one at a time. If a player has written an answer that is the same as someone else, it doesn't count towards their score and they cross it out. If your answer is unique and different from everyone else, you receive one point. When all the answers have been revealed, the person with the highest score is the winner.
