The object of this game is to be the team that collects the most different "Family Member" cards by the time they reach home. There are eight different family member cards. Divide the group into two teams. Place the game board on the wall or board in front of the children. Place the team markers on start using tape to secure them to the board (or a magnet if your board is magnetic). Take turns rolling the dice and moving the indicated amount or doing what the dice indicates. When a team lands on a space with a question or statement, they answer the question or do what the statement indicates. If they cannot answer the question, they lose a turn. When a team lands on a "Pick a Family Member Card", they choose a card from the top of the card deck. If it is a family member they do not yet have, they keep the card. If they pick a card that repeats a family member they already have, they do not keep the card and they place it at the bottom of the deck. Keep taking turns and moving along the road until each team has reached home. Count up your different family member cards to determine the winner. Have fun and remember the importance of being a loving and kind family member and how we each have a responsibili1y in the family.
