This is a fun game to play to learn about keeping the commandments and repentance. Move along this game board collecting points for keeping the commandments.

How to Make

Reproduce the four pages that create a game trail of commandment tablets onto a heavier cardstock. Color, cut out and tape together along back side as shown above. Laminate the the game board for durability. Reproduce two sets of each of the commandment tablets that have pictures of different commandments. This will make a deck of 36 cards. Laminate the commandment cards for durability. Reproduce four sets of the tablet movement cards onto heavier cardstock. Color, cut out and laminate the movement cards.

How to Play

Place the game board in the center of play. Use small toys, coins, or whatever you may have around the house for markers. Place all players on the "START" space. Take turns picking a Movement Card from the face down deck of cards. Move that many spaces, unless you choose a "REPENT" card. If you chose a "REPENT" card, then your turn ends and you do not move. When traveling on the game trail, if you land on a "REPENT" space you do not receive a "COMMANDMENT" Tablet Card. But if you do land on a Smiling Commandment space, you choose a Commandment Card from the 36 picture card deck. Place the Commandment in front of yourself and your turn ends. Keep taking turns and if you choose a card that is a Commandment you have already received previously, that is a good thing. You now "Double" the normal score. Each Commandment Card is worth "1 Point". But if you get two cards that are the same, then you get "Double" or 4 points for those two cards. All players travel along the game trail "Keeping Commandments" and collecting points. Once the first player arrives at the "FINISH" space, the game is over and everyone adds up the commandments they kept to see who is the winner...it may not be the player that arrived at the "Finish" space first! Have fun and remember the importance of "Keeping Commandments!"
