Lesson Helps: “Prophet Stick Puppets”

In your Come Follow Me lesson, it is suggested that you discuss scriptural examples of past prophets and when they had to do hard things. We have provided stick puppets of Noah, Ammon, Samuel the Lamanite, and David. These fun stick puppets can be used in a variety of ways and can keep the children's attention and make the lesson fun for everyone.

The Gospel Teaches Me How to Return to Heavenly Father.

Presentation: “Jumping to Jesus”

As a missionary I used this fun activity all the time while teaching children. This fun game teaches the importance of needing all the steps in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each Child will take turns trying to jump from start to Jesus. They soon realize that Faith, Repentance, Baptism, and the Gift of the Holy Ghost are essential steps in reaching Jesus Christ. Children love actively trying to reach Jesus and it’s a wonderful way to help remember these four important steps.

This great Primary song teaches the importance of faith in our lives and how it will help us return to our Heavenly Father.

Game: “Faithful Followers – Board Game”

This exciting game teaches children to follow Jesus Christ in Faith. This is a fun and easy gospel game for any time but would be perfect for this Come Follow Me lesson concerning Faith in Jesus Christ. Children travel along this unique game trail encountering “Good” and “Poor choices. The object of this game is to be the first player to make the most right choices and reach happiness and dwell with Jesus Christ now and forever.
