Fun activities and games to supplement your Come Follow Me lessons from the Doctrine and Covenants. These are some Finch Family favorite games that teach about about the second coming, Jesus is kind and loving, and obedience. Games and activities included in this bundle are:

Game: “When He Comes Again”
This is a game board that teaches what we can do to prepare for the Second Coming. Divide your group into two teams. They begin in heaven and travel to earth, just like Jesus will when he comes again! Players will roll a dice to move and then do whatever their space indicates. They will learn and answer question cards along the way. This is a wonderful way to learn or review ways we can prepare now for when Christ will come again.

This favorite Primary song helps children think about what it will be like the day Jesus Christ returns to the earth for the second time. This beautiful song teaches them that it could be any time or any season but one thing we will know for sure…He will love us and want us to come to Him!
Song: “Jesus Is Our Loving Friend”
This simple Primary song teaches the children that Jesus loves us and is our friend. He will always be there for us and help us. He is the best friend any child could have!
Game: “Loving Ways” Concentration
Match the two halves of the pictures of ways Heavenly Father and Jesus make our lives better and show love for us.
There are 12 different pictures that are cut in half. Lay the cards out on a table or on the floor. Players can be individuals or play as teams of two. Players with the most matches are the winners.
Game: “Obey Today”
The object of this game is to be the first team to create your person puzzle (a boy or a girl). Create some questions or statements that help review your Come Follow Me lesson concerning obeying the laws of your community. Players take turns picking a question from the sack. They answer it and if it is correct, they pick a puzzle peace from the sack. If it is one that they need for their person puzzle, they keep it and place it on the board (use tape or magnet pieces to help them stay on the board). If they pick a piece that isn’t one they need, they put it back and their turn ends. First team to get their puzzle together wins!
