This is a wonderful review activity where the children answer questions you create about your current Come Follow Me lesson. When they answer correctly, they choose a piece of the 12 piece poster. They are searching for the letters that spell T-E-M-P-L-E. The object is to find these letters before time runs out!

How to Make

Print the four pages that create a picture of the temple and children onto heavier cardstock. Color and cut out along dark outside lines and dotted interior lines. Print the individual card strips that spell "TEMPLE" and also the "SORRY" strips (you will need a total of 6 Sorry strips) onto regular weight paper. Color and cut out all card strips. Mount card strips randomly on the back of the strips created from the four page picture. Laminate all pieces for durability.

How to Play

The object of this activity is to find the letters that spell "TEMPLE". Create your presentation around this theme and the importance of keeping ourselves clean and pure in heart. As a whole group, the children will be searching for the temple and trying to spell "TEMPLE". This is done by creating your own questions around your presentation and having the children answer them. If they answer correctly, they can come up and pick a strip from the four page picture. When they turn it over, if it has a letter they place it on the board. If it has a "SORRY", they hand it to the leader and their turn ends. Keep asking questions and picking strips until the children have found the letters that spell "TEMPLE".
